The first year of the Ethiopian new millennium is drawing to a close and these are the days we have got left before the start of the year 2001. Despite the optimism of the Ethiopian people, the first year of the new millennium has not been a year of good memories.
But Ethiopia remains a country where faith is the rule of life. It is a country where its people live cheerfully for they have faith and conviction that can be seen in everything they do, and everyday. So as we celebrate the year 2001, we should also celebrate the culture, history & beauty of Ethiopia. |
